The food has no seasoning. It's extremely loud and pretty unfriendly overall. Nothing special.

All around great little restaurant. We were immediately greeted as we walked through the door. Drinks were given pretty quick which is a good thing. The price was exceptional and not expensive at all. Especially whenever you realize what good quality and portion the food is. We'll definitely be returning customers for sure.

Went here for breakfast. Service was good. The old ladies waiting tables and running food were nice and hospitable. The food was okay. Wasn't a big fan of the hash browns. They were a bit grainy in texture. The eggs were okay. The sausages were delicious. I recommend ordering the sausages and eggs. Very nice place with great service and okay food. I would eat here again

Nice waitress and cashier. Food was a good and stayed hot. Omelette was very fluffy and good, grits were just smooth and hot. Nice thick belgian waffle and the bacon was cooked just right as well as the toast. I was so full and delighted when I left I know will be back soon enough to find out what lunch and dinner has to offer. Really good place to eat.

It is rare to find a place that gets the eggs just how you want them, this place did. The waffle was fluffy and tasty, just a pinch sweet, in my book that’s perfect. The prices are reasonable and the service was attentive but not hovering.

This place is awesome. It's clean, the food is very good and what do ya know, they serve real eggs not the powdered stuff. I must say, the staff is very warm and inviting and I love it. You get all the stars for my vote l.

A great little restaurant that makes you feel like you're in a 1950's diner. Serves everything from waffles to steak. Steaks are VERY well seasoned and is highly recommended. It can be crowded at times but normally there isn't much wait time. You can just go in to have a coffee and read the newspaper if you like. Friendly staff and a small, homely place. Very cozy.

This morning was the 3rd time in the past month that we received poor service. Water menus and forget about you . We have been regulars eating there 2 to 4 times a week for years. But not anymore. When you are ignored because you will be back. Unacceptable. Well did go back and service did get better. Almost dejavu. For Last two or three weeks the service has returned to be unacceptable. Now because we are regulars they give us our drinks and say are you ready. We say no may we see a menu. Then we are ignored for 15 to 20 minutes. Today we paid for drinks and vow not to return.

The breakfast was cold. Sausage is better at McDonalds. The hashbrowns were weird...like scraps. All the food felt like it was frozen and dethawed. The server we asked what is the best thing here we are traveling through...she stated she didn't know. I said the name is Waffle Shoppe are you famous for your wagflea... she said are you in the mood for pancakes??? I asked if the biscuits were fresh she said I have no idea.. . Better to go to McDonald's.

Great food excellent service. I have passed by it for years and decided to stop in for breakfast. Prices are cheap too. You can tip the waitress extra. They keep your cup full of coffee. Definitely be back

Never have a problem when we eat here. Food always hot made to order and delicious. We always order steak and eggs and they are always cooked to loveliness. Our servers are always nice and attentive.

The place was very crowded. And we had to fight off flies. Other than that, the waitresses were attentive and pleasant and the food was decent.

Food was amazing! The food gets 5/5 stars but the service deserves 2/5 stars. First time going in and I didnt realize you just sit down at a table we were waiting and the hollared next and our server was rude and didnt talk with us at all.

The waffles are good, the eggs and sausage are great. The Waffle Shoppe is an improved IHOP with better waffles. The atmosphere is friendly and you can sit a family of up to six without making things awkward for people around you.

Pros and cons. Food is overall amazing. Service great too. Just don’t add cheese to your hash browns if you’re expecting CHEESY HASHBROWNS, their budget friendly attempt was less than Gouda. 😉
